The Rock Wool plant provided by RO.MA. consists of:
A fully automatic Bach Plant for the transportation of the raw materials, where the raw material is weighed, mixed and then carried to the cupola for melting.
Cupola, for the melting of the materials, which is always equipped with an exhaust gas treatment unit as well as a Blast Air generation unit.
Spinner of the latest technology with 4 rotors which transforms the molten material into fibers.
Binder plant which distributes the binder onto the raw fiber to give consistency to the finished product.
Drum forming chamber with pendulum and weighing conveyer, for the collection, distribution and weighing of the fiber.
Curing Oven, equipped with a post-combustor for the elimination of all organic substances and for the production of hot air for the Curing Oven preheating.
Cold line for trimming, cutting to length, packaging and storage of the finished products.
RO.MA. also provides complete systems for the production of insulating pipes, quilted mattresses, rolled up mats, double-density panels and foil-faced mats with Kraft paper or aluminum.
